Steve Madden Travel Sandal Review April 20, 2020
Happy Monday everyone. I’m going to start off this week by reviewing this Spring and Summer’s most popular sandal: the Travel Sandal by Steve Madden. I happened to already have the clear pair, so I figured I would give my honest review on it. This is not a collaboration or paid post. If you are looking to purchase the Steve Madden Travel sandal or are on the fence about it, I hope this post helps you out. Here is my Steve Madden Travel Sandal Review.
First Impressions

Steve Madden always has the best shoes, in my opinion. I ordered the Travel Sandal before all the hype was around it and when it first came out. They came in a neat Steve Madden box and were packaged up appropriately. When I opened the box, I saw how stunning these shoes actually were in person. They really are some show-stopping shoes. Like I said above, I ordered the clear pair. So the bands around your feet are clear with the silver studs. I couldn’t wait to try them on. I ordered my normal size 8. These sandals also come in tan, snake skin, yellow, and white.
Trying Them On
When I took them out of the box to put on, I won’t lie, I was very confused at how I was supposed to wear them. It took me a good couple of minutes to get the hand of how to wrap the straps around my ankle. <insert face palm emoji>. When I tried them on, I noticed the middle strap across the top of my foot was very loose. I do have very narrow feet, so I was kind of expecting that to happen, so no worries there. I was surprised at how snug the very first strap was around my toes though. I have long slender toes and the strap fit snug on top of them. I also feel like if my toes were much shorter, this would be an issue as well. However, I didn’t have an issue there.
Wearing Them

I have only worn these sandals once. Since we have been in quarantine for so long, I don’t really have a place to wear them. While wearing them, I noticed the sole of the shoes was very comfortable as it has a good bit of padding on it. The straps on the clear sandals are made of plastic I believe, so they could cut in to your feet if they are too tight. I did notice some rubbing on my ankle, but nothing that caused a blister or anything. I don’t see this being an issue with the other colors, because the straps are a bit softer. They really do spice up your outfit. I like that fact the clear sandals go with practically any outfit because there is no color to it.
Are They Worth It?
Are the Steve Madden Travel Sandals worth the hype?? I think they are. Although I do see some issues if you have thicker feet or super short toes. These sandals are comfy and they look amazing with outfits. I will definitely be wearing them more often when quarantine is over. I hope you enjoyed my Steve Madden Travel Sandal Review
